episode 2: Comic Workshops with Refugees (with Ali Fitzgerald)
Our second episode gives you the recent updates on the CIB contest, the table booking and the satellite events. Guest of this show is Ali Fitzgerald, who hosts comic workshops at a refugee shelter.
She tells us that working with the refugees has been a great experience for both sides so far. The workshops themselves are mostly done by drawing due to the language barrier and although most of the people in the shelter are totally unfamiliar with the medium comic, they took up the idea quickly. The drawings vary from landscapes to actual memories.
