Then, Kristen Ghodsee joins to talk about her book, Why Women Have Better Sex Under Socialism, and Other Arguments for Economic Independence. For today’s Friday panel, we have Jamie Peck and Esperanza Fonseca. They discuss with Nomiki about the responsibility of raising a family, and how all this domestic and reproductive work falls on women. They also react to the recent story about Dianne Morales, which leads to a larger discussion about how successful an electoral strategy actually is for socialists, and why we need to raise class consciousness in order to build a revolutionary movement for communism.
