Oklahoma Governor and Lawmakers Disagree on Abortion Bill

Last week, Oklahoma legislators approved a bill that would make it a felony for doctors to perform abortions.

And on Friday, Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin vetoed that bill, saying the language was too vague.

Emily Bazelon, New York Times Magazine staff writer and panelist on Slate's "Political Gabfest," talks about the latest out of Oklahoma.

In her role as a Supreme Court watcher, Bazelon said she's keeping her eye on the upcoming affirmative action case out of Texas, which could yield a majority opinion since Justice Kagan will not be taking part in the vote.
