Om Namah Shivaya chanted by Tobias Weber

With much passion and joy Tobias Weber sings "Om Namah Shivaya" in a Saturday evening Satsang at Yoga Vidya in Bad Meinberg. You can find this Shiva Kirtan under the number 699a in the Yoga Vidya kirtan booklet. "Om Namah Shivaya" is the Panchakshara Mantra of Shiva. "Om Namah Shivaya" is a Dhyana Moksha Mantra, a mantra for meditation, a mantra that leads to liberation. "Om Namah Shivaya" means: Om - infinite sound, Namah means "obeisance, greeting to", Shivaya means "to Shiva". And Shiva means "the lucky one," "the benevolent one," "the loving one". Further explanations of this kirtan can be found online in the Yoga Vidya Kirtan Songbook Blog at Om Namah Shivaya. Here is the complete text to sing along: Om Namah Shivaya For more kirtan and Mantra vocal recordings click here.
