episode 7: Suns Out Mics Out - Randy Engebritson of FLIPP/Hairball

It's the season one finale Suns Out Mics Out, with very special guest Randy Engebritson. Randy was the bass player in FLIPP and Hairball and played just about every other instrument with many other bands. He and Bakko talk about his time with both of those bands as well as the bands Useless, Planet Melvin, Dead Cowboys and more. Music of the 80's. Met Center concerts. Being a Viking fan. Leather pants. Woodstock 99. Edgefest. Bill Aucoin. DIY stage effects. Art Alexakis. And enough KISS talk to make Matt Porter erect. And of course they play a little music.

Randy also talks about his friend and former bandmate Michael Schneider, known as Happy, the guitarist in Hairball. Happy was diagnosed in 2018 with Stage 3 Esophageal Cancer. On August 22nd in Otsego, MN is the #TeamHappyBenefit concert. All proceeds go to supporting Happy's medical bills, trust & legacy. You don't have to attend to show your support.
