Bonus Episode - Warhammer 40k Cartoon, What If?
It's a Bonus 'By the Power' Episode. Games Workshop are getting into animation and its about time! We ask if instead of Warhammer+ which launches August 2021 what if they had released a cartoon in the 80's! Would da Ork Boyz be da Stars an show us Umies wot dey got? Jamie a huge Ork fan gives us his pitch. James has dreams of a Brave group of Space Marines saving the day but becoming tainted by Chaos (James assumes everything is tainted by Chaos eventually I think?). Kane thinks a Blackstone fortress would make a great setting, with a band of adventurers trying to find some mysterious artifacts. Stuart has the only correct answer which is of course that any 40K cartoon must be about the heroic Ultramarines who are perfection in blue. So listen in to see if we work out how an 80's cartoon could adapt the 'Grim Dark', truly horrible world of 40k into a kid friendly Saturday morning show.
