Esta etapa con su final en el Alto de Cullera nos enseñó un poco más sobre el estado de forma de cada uno de los protagonistas. El danés Magnus Cort Nielsen del equipo EF fue el único ciclista de la escapada del día quien pudo mantenerse delante hasta el final y ganar esta sexta etapa.
