While They Nap

Hi! We're two new moms trying to navigate our way through motherhood, so let’s talk about it! Grab a coffee, glass of wine, or something a little stronger (we won’t judge) while we unpack, unwind, and discuss how we deal with parenting, relationships, and adulthood sans filters. All while the kids nap…of course. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

episode 2: Let's Get REAL About Building Community

Our guest today is nothing short of amazing and we're so lucky that we had a chance to sit down with her to hear her story. Tanya Hayles is the founder of Black Moms Connection, an online global village of 20,000 and non-profit providing culturally relevant programs and resources to educate and empower the Black mother and her family. The work of diversifying motherhood was the reason behind launching the anti-Black racism consulting business Color In White Spaces, changing the conversation of diversity and inclusion and making it real and relatable.
