Steve and Eli kick off Shows With Friends by diving in the pilot episode of Casual on Hulu.
Steve gives us his first impressions of the series and highlights the director's style of comedy and strong main characters. Eli is excited to share this culturally relevant show with his friend. They're both amazed by how much you learn about the main character Val in just a 25 min pilot! They also thoroughly enjoyed the double date and how Alex actually created the dating app they were all using! Val's short scenes with her assistant Lia leaves us wanting more. When Alex picks up Laura from soccer practice we learn that his vulnerability runs deeper than expected! Emile feels slightly uncomfortable with Laura in her house and Leon thinks he's being pranked before he runs into Alex in the kitchen!
