episode 121: MD12 – Dortmund get their first points under Terzic and Bosz’s Leverkusen continue to entertain
The post-Lucien Favre Borussia Dortmund era got off to the perfect start against Werder Bremen! New boss and lifelong fan Edin Terzic was able to see his side win 2-1 thanks to goals from Raphael Guerreiro and Marco Reus. There is plenty more work to do for Die Schwarzgelben, but this is a step in the right direction.
They are six points off the top of the Bundesliga, with top spot currently held by Bayer Leverkusen. They were in irresistible form against FC Köln, prevailing 4-0. With Bayern Munich ending Wolfsburg’s unbeaten run this campaign with a 2-1 victory, the tie between Leverkusen and the current champions this weekend has been set up perfectly.
