With no Bundesliga football this week, it was the perfect time to talk about Germany’s 2018 World Cup debacle. Die Mannschaft recorded their worst performance in 80 years by exiting the tournament in the group stage, and there has since been a lot of talk as to what the future holds for the national side.

In this episode, we aim to decipher the main problems that the side encountered during their doomed journey, with subjects such as Mesut Özil and Joachim Löw taking centre stage. We also took a brief look at where Germany go from here and how they can return to the top of the international game.
