Trump's Son-In-Law Addresses Anti-Semitism

Donald Trump seems to prefer the advice of family over political operatives.

Jared Kushner, husband of Ivanka Trump, real-estate developer, and owner of The New York Observer, has become integral to his father-in-law's campaign, especially when it comes to cleaning up Trump’s social media snafus. After Trump came under fire for tweeting a Star of David symbol as part an anti-Clinton ad, Kushner published an open letter in his own newspaper asserting, “My father-in law is not an anti-Semite,” telling the story of his own grandparents who survived the Holocaust.

Michael Barbaro, who writes about politics and government for The New York Times, talked about how Trump's son in law, Jared Kushner, came to be the campaign's latest fixer, and how Kushner's liberal Jewish family is reacting to his letter.
