Diabetes Core Update is a monthly podcast that presents and discusses the latest clinically relevant articles from the American Diabetes Association’s four science and medical journals – Diabetes, Diabetes Care, Clinical Diabetes, and Diabetes Spectrum. Each episode is approximately 15 minutes long and presents 5-6 recently published articles from ADA journals. Special Edition: Diabetic Neuropathy, Part 2 – March 2022


In this special three-part series we will be doing a deep dive into diabetic peripheral neuropathy.    In this second episode Dr. Rodica Pop-Busui joins our host, Dr. Neil Skolnik to discuss pharmacologic treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.  In part 1 we covered the epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations, screening and diagnosis of diabetic peripheral neuropathy and in part 3 of the series we will cover non-pharmacologic management.   This series is supported by an unrestricted educational grant to the American Diabetes Association from Nevro, Inc.
