We welcomed Rishabh Maharaja to the program to discuss his Project Hermes in association with Capitol Technology University undergraduate students working to establish a Wi-Fi network in space for a system bus use. The students used an Android smartphone to connect to an Iridium-based hotspot device, Iridium Go. The system uses the TCP/IP as you will hear Professor Maharaja discuss. In addition, he talked some about the EO-1 NASA mission as our guest is currently the deputy flight operations team lead for that mission.
