DNC Wednesday: Breaking Glass Ceilings and Bringing Back Glass-Steagall

Barney Frank, former U.S. Congressman (D-MA) and the author of Frank: A Life in Politics from the Great Society to Same-Sex Marriage (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2015), talks about Hillary Clinton's 2016 economic plan and the significance of Clinton's acceptance of the Democratic nomination.

"What’s important to me is not simply that a woman was nominated," said Frank. "But a woman of great ability and compassion."

MTV News correspondents, Jamil Smith and Ana Marie Cox, talk about their experiences on the floor of the convention last night as Hillary Clinton became the first female presidential nominee of the Democratic Party.

"With Obama’s nomination you saw a more symbolic thing," said Smith. "But women have been through a different kind of oppression. What women have gone through is its own thing."

Lisa from Manhattan was less impressed.
