Pre-Convention Conversation: Are You Still Undecided?

If conventions are ads for political parties, which brand will you buy?  Brian Lehrer asked his undecided listeners whether after watching both conventions they were more sold on either candidate.

Then the conversation turned to foreign policy, asking listeners to imagine what kind of Commander-in-Chief Hillary Clinton would be.  Chris Murphy, democratic senator from Connecticut, and Mark Landler, white house correspondent for The New York Times and author of Alter Egos: Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and the Twilight Struggle Over American Power (Random House, 2016), discussed whether there is a Clinton doctrine, and if her reputation as a Hawk is warranted.
