My Rock Moment

Was it being front row at a Bowie concert as a kid? Was it meeting Van Halen at a record store album signing? Or was it the first time that your band got to play The Whisky A Go Go? My Rock Moment celebrates rock music from the 60s, 70s and 80s with interviews from those that lived it and keep the music alive today!  Host Amanda Morck is a native Angeleno, long-time resident of Sunset Strip, and an adjunct instructor of California rock history. She interviews Rock Hall of Fame musicians, Grammy-winning producers, rock journalists, photographers, DJs, managers, authors and award-winning Directors and entertainment personalities about the rock moments they’ll never forget - moments that fostered a deep love of a band, an album or inspired them to pursue a lifelong career as a musician. And you as the listener will be invited along for a trip down rock and roll memory lane. My Rock Moment is a proud member of Pantheon Podcasts, the first of its kind, all music-based podcast network.

episode 4: How Anita Pallenberg inspired The Rolling Stones & the stories behind Christine McVie's songs on Rumours: Rock Moments to Remember

In this edition of Rock Moments to Remember, we will talk about the infamous Rolling Stones muse Anita Pallenberg and how her relationship with Keith Richards and the explicit and controversial indie film "Performance" let to one of the greatest rock songs of all time!

We'll also discuss the iconic Fleetwood Mac album "Rumours", but instead of telling the well known tales of Stevie Nicks, Lindsay Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood, we'll highlight Christine McVie's contributions to the album and the stories ( we mean drama!) behind the songs.

Listen now and we'd love it if you would follow, rate or review My Rock Moment!
