episode 5: Habits with Sharee Shefket

Today I have with me Sharee Shefket, mindset expert and founder of Wellness Coaching Company.  Sharee was a counselor for 16 years before moving into the disability sector, then transitioned into hypnotherapy.  She is a certified HypnoFit therapist and she runs a busy clinic and will soon be releasing a self development book for children.

Sharee works her clients through emotional blocks, which often have very real consequences within the body.  Often, those emotional blocks aren't even their own fears, but inherited from someone else earlier in life.  Mental health isn't quite the same thing as emotional health - it's the flip side of the same coin.

Sharee's top 3 tips for better emotional health:
1. Face your fears.  Turn on the light and examine that boogeyman.
2. Rewire your brain the same way you would clean up your computer files or browser tabs.
3.  Love yourself.  You deserve to be loved.  Every person is valid and every person deserves to be loved.

When it comes to weight loss, Sharee often finds that the reasons people hold on to weight are not as simple as eating too much.  There are often some deep emotional wounds and blocks that contribute to the self sabotage that causes weight gain.

You deserve to love yourself and put yourself first.  It's your time to shine, and that starts with addressing your spiritual, emotional, and physical health, all 3, in order to create your magical life.
