Die ersten arabischen Zeitungen entstehen im 19. Jh. Anschließend sprießen auch Zeitschriften in diversen Formaten in der gesamten islamischen Welt und darüber hinaus. Welche Probleme die Herausgeber überwanden, welche Themen die Periodika behandelten und welche Herausforderungen Forscher:innen bei der Masse an Material meistern müssen, erzählt uns Dr. Till Grallert.
