Join us as our host, Carol McDaniel, sits down with guest Julie Bacon, our chief flight nurse at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
The Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital Transport Team provides round-the-clock specialized transport care to critically ill newborns, infants, children and teens from throughout the state of Florida and beyond.
Our Transport Team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Team members include specially trained pediatric registered nurses, respiratory therapists and paramedics. Each team member has neonatal and pediatric critical care experience as well as additional training in advanced cardio-respiratory support and transport critical care.
Team members remain in contact with a neonatology or pediatric critical care physician at Johns Hopkins All Children's for medical management of the patient throughout the transport.
