Patty Nilsen is the Chief Beest Officer of Shebeest, a womens' cycling clothing company built for function and fashion. Patty has worked for brands such as Cannonade, Nike, Athleta and Reef. Now, she unveils the design process behind Shebeest's new women’s cycling bib, which is catching on fast as a must-have for ladies.
When she's not designing apparel, you can find Patty competing in cyclocross or riding with Team Ten20, a cycling team of more than 200 women in Boulder that she founded seven years ago.
If you've ever wondered how those cycling shorts went from concept to your behind, or what Shebeest is launching next for indoor cyclists and mountain bikers, this episode of Endurance Ladies Radio is for you. We get nerdy about chamois, fabric and what’s risky about making a bib with mesh. Also, we may or may not talk about channeling Madonna.
