Campaign: Skyjacks

James invites Aaron Catano-Saez and Jeff Stormer to join him in discussing a little community on Spéir that throws rocks into the sea to send The Mariner a very clear message: Fuck around and find out.

James invites game designer Jeeon Shim to chat about their upcoming setting work for Spéir: the City of Janchi. James refreshes Jeeyon on the basics of the setting and Jeeyon teaches James about food forests, diverse biomes, and thriving in environments where water is dangerous. This conversation will help Jeeyon build an amazing new piece of Spéir!

In preparation for season 2 of Courier's Call Aaron and Drew sit down with James and discuss some of the most fundamental types of magic on Spéir: Luminary Cards and Starwatching. They also touch on some of the sources of magical power that allow magic to function and give Cici her first Luminary cards.

James sits down with Liz, Tyler, and Johnny to discuss their experiences making Skyjacks, with special attention paid to the most recent Nordia and N'Goni arcs. James explains the rules to the original Powered by the Apocolypse system he developed for the Interlude episodes featuring the negotiation between The Broker and Remmington Youngblood. This system was developed in part thanks to innovations to the PbtA engine made by Brandon Leon Gambetta in Pasión de las Pasiones.

While the Uhuru charts their course away from N'Goni, clouds gather over Burza Nyth. The Broker holds an audience with the head of one of the most powerful privateer companies in all of Spéir: Remmington Youngblood. These two are on the brink of open conflict following the events of The Uhuru's adventures in Burza Nyth. After weeks of correspondence, the two meet in an effort to prevent an escalation of hostilities that could be disastrous for their respective organizations.

The Broker and Remmington Youngblood continue their negotiation. The Broker continues a risky gambit, sharing valuable intelligence in an effort to drive a wedge between the Youngbloods and their long-time allies: The Red Feather Syndicate.

James sits down with Aaron Catano-Saez and Drew Mierzejewski to talk about the mysterious yet wholesome subject of Necromancy on Spéir. Jeff Stormer is not in this recoding, therefore we don't have the franchise rights to call this All My Fantasy Skyjacks. Please refrain from thinking of it as such so we don't get sued.
