Hey there kids, Your Cool Aunt Hannah is running another game of vampire hunting for our young sleuths! Feel free to start here, and they'll catch you up. This week: Candace drops Trevor, Drix, and Pip off with Auntie Andrel, who asks the kids to give some cookies to her new neighbor...
Looks like Greg forgot about April Fools until it was too late! They've had a fun idea in the can for a minute though, so let's see if it works out.
Culture shock for roaming Line Bulls is not uncommon, as each locomotive can be run entirely differently than every other despite the existence of Imperial regulation and convention. But a certain Bull must serve on every train in the Railways fleet, and just when he thought he had the hang of it he is assigned to the Pride of Duskwall. Drix supports childhood development. Pip reminds one of science class. Ditri meets a sparkboy. Andrel freezes up and has a bad time...
The cities of the Imperium are cloaked in night at the best of times, and a darkened alleyway carries no special menace. But even Scoundrels dread to venture beneath the docks, close to the blackest Sea. It is here that the nervous Ditri must go to make ends meet. Later, Pippin puts Jean-Claude in his place. Drix lends a helping hand. Andrel spies someone weird...
This is the second part of the Layover in Tyrmoor, now split in two (as all Layovers will be from now on). The first half an hour is pretty emotional and there's an offhand mention of Crowl possessing someone to commit suicide at ~43:30
A cliff where the sky meets the land. Below it, a shore where the land meets the sea. A witch's ritual, where the past will meet the present. The city of Tyrmoor gives to the Line Bulls only what they themselves have brought...
The northernmost city of Severos is Tyrmoor, named in the fashion of Skovlan. Though Severosi do live in the highlands, many prefer the plains and common Imperial reckoning places the beginning of Skovlan at the lightning barrier of Tyrmoor. But for the Line Bulls of the Pride, the sight of the fourth Shattered Isle brings a nervous anticipation. Pip alarms the Physicker. Andrel gets the truth. Drix dreams of home.

In their second live appearance, the Ghosts on a Train gang played a short encounter on The Creator Stage set up by Chuck Lindsey (@ChuckLoadComics) at Fan Expo Boston 2023! Guy made it to this one, so it's the full gang of Line Bulls. The gang are invited to take a trip under the Void Sea that anyone can enjoy outside of continuity! Pip sticks his head inside a membrane. Andrel sides with a girlboss. Drix gets a man between his thighs...
Now that the Line Bulls have faced Dust Devils, freed the spirits of a ghost train, and formed a "friendship coalition", the cast of Ghosts on a Train discuss episodes 60 to 62 along with guest Xan. We discuss how Xan came to be our guest, Guy's desires for Pip and Candace's relationship, player suspicion of guests, and how success and failure feel in games...
Life on the Ghost Lines is carried over the bones of the dead, and every train may one day become a coffin. Before Line Bulls, there were merely electrofields wrapping each train like a raincoat; and after the first hurricane the Ministry knew that something more was needed. Line Bulls fight and die, as necessary as the plasm pushing the locomotives forward and when the entire crew of the Pride of Duskwall stands together they will be able to protect even their own protectors...
THIS WEEK WE BRING YOU AN EPISODE OF CHAIN OF BEING! Cai of Timoth and "additional sound design by Cai Gwilym Pritchard" fame needs your help to make season 2 of their podcast even better than season 1! Greg definitely forgot to mention every effect Cai has made for GoaT (The Hand of the Curse that attacked The Physicker being at least one that was missed) but we can't stress enough how skilled Cai is and how your monetary support can help bring some great art into the world...
