Jack Parsons is the subject of this week’s show. Jack was one of the principal founders of both the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and the Aerojet Engineering Corporation. He invented the first rocket engine to use a castable, composite rocket propellant, and pioneered the advancement of both liquid-fuel and solid-fuel rockets. Oh, and he also summoned the devil, was besties with Aleister Crowley, and practiced magick. You know, normal rocket scientist stuff...

Cult leader Jim Jones used a dangerous mix of lies, abuse, and manipulation to control the members of his People’s Temple.
