News of the Times was derived through my fascination with news articles from as early as the 1790’s through Victorian Times and beyond. Newspapers supplied the social media of their day and are a fascinating insight into the lives, trends, and world of the everyday person. Through actual news articles of our past, I review the social media stories of their day touching upon the lives, trends and world of the every day person. In this channel, stories are collated from a wide variety of sources and gathered into spans of 3 years at a time from actual newspapers and periodicals. New podcast episodes will be uploaded every Tuesday. This is News of the Times.
