The outriders have their mission: venture into the creeping ruin and find fuel to keep The Hammer moving. As long as the Hammer moves the rails rattle and humanity survives. This is their last chance, as it always is.
James sits down with Johnathan Sims, Sasha Sienna, Ben Meradith, and Anil Godigamuwe to design a train carrying the last hopes of humanity and civilization. Predictably, that train in a world of trouble and fraught with political in-fighting.
The Snatchers face down the ghostly projections of former business competitors as they try to understand how there could be any hauntings left in the industrialized phantasm poaching world. If they don't discover the answer soon they might need snatching themselves!
because they will be dead and ghosts. does that make sense?
The Spirit snatchers make their way from Venezuela to Florida and contemplate what could possibly evade their top ten radio hit-based ghost deterrents and evade other hunting organizations. Well, no. The employees of harvesttrick-or-treat.net have an opportunity to go home early, but only one of them cand do it and their manager isn't going to make the decision for them. Also if they die on company property their souls will be destroyed.
The elfinfolk battle desperately against the nocturnal terror which for years stalked their community and finally unleashed it's hellish fury once the Cooper-Millers were no longer allowed to protect them: Mapache. Will they be able to escape and build a new life in Florida?
The Elfinfolk celebrate the basement people moving on to a new home as their house has been unoccupied by humans for about a year now. During this celebration, they are each forced to think of what they want out of life now that its clear no one new is coming.
James gets the power team of Mike Migdall, Stephen Kropa, Casey Toney, and Arne Parrott to cram their huge personalities into extremely tiny characters with Elfinfolk! After the family that once lived in and supported their home has left with no replacement, the clans of the Elfinfolk must make the difficult decision that they too must leave.
