In recovery since 1998 from drugs, alcohol, and an abusive upbringing, she and her husband have settled into the Nashville area, where she writes by the lake when she can escape their six kids and dog.

Antoinette celebrated 16 years in clean in July 2020 and is now a drug and alcohol counselor in the Philadelphia area. She is working on her Masters Degree and hopes to one day help veterans at the local VA hospital.
