विक्टोरिया में कोविड संक्रमण के नए मामलों में लगातार कमी देखी जा रही है. हालांकि वहां चौथे चरण के प्रतिबंधों को 2 हफ्तों के लिए बढ़ाया गया है लेकिन रविवार 6 सितंबर को राज्य के प्रीमियर डेनियल ऐंड्रयूज ने इन प्रतिबंधों के हटाने के लिए राज्य सरकार की योजना पेश की है. जिसके तहत पांच चरणों में ये प्रतिबंध हटाए जाएंगे.
