Abraham's journey of faith continues as God reiterates His covenant and requires all males of his household to be circumcised. While God required male circumcision  for Abraham and his descendants as a physical sign of the covenant that was made between Him and Abraham, God desires to circumcise our hearts--the spiritual sign that we have received His Gift of Life...

We all go through different seasons in life and some of those seasons are harder than others. In this episode 20, we  encounter a God as "the God who sees". He sees our misery, He sees our distress, He sees our anxieties, He sees our fears ... etc and it is then that He manifests His presence, showing us care as He listens to us and providing us comfort and direction in the midst of our distress.

Sometimes we think we are helping God when we in fact mess things up. When we rely on our own wisdom rather than take time to seek God for clarity and direction, to confirm if indeed the idea we have lines up with His plans and purposes, we can make a mess out of things. Can anyone count the numbers of stars in the sky? The answer is no. It is impossible as counting the number of grains of sand on the face of the earth. Yet, when God had an encounter with Abram, He made Him a great promise a son, descendants who would be as innumerable as the stars in the sky. God sealed His promise through an unconditional covenant. Episode 18 is an episode that gives us a glimpse of who God is and how we can experience a deeper intimacy with Him.

Episode 17 takes us through the journey of two men who were traveling to a promised land, however, one never made it as he settled for a parched land where he died, while the other by faith  journeyed to the place God had intended for him, his family and generations to come. The latter was not only blessed but through his obedience we are blessed today.
