We planned to listen and react to the new A.I recorded blues song "Soul of the Machine," and instead did an entire episode on how bad the Counting Crows cover of "Big Yellow Taxi" is.

Very lucky to be joined by Will and Nick from the band Flyte. Among other things, they have some interesting insight into our Lord of the Rings / The Beatles mash up.

Really lovely to speak to them both, and look forward to the coming back to react to the Rolling Stone "Top 100 Solo Beatles Songs." Don't worry, we will get there eventually.

Max Frost is a singer songwriter based in Nashville, Texas, who has found a second career as a internet music content creator. Most notably, he creates mash-ups of different bands - our personal favourite being The Beatles doing a Korn Song and vice-versa. 

Today, he comes on the podcast and we have a bit of a philosophical discussion about the role of the musician in the year 2024.
