Welcome back Chris Zonada has a wonderful voice and great lyrics. The third song he performed is a hilarious "Bar" song that made us all crack up and we decided to leave the laughs in and we even harmonized at the end. Jacob and I had such a fun time with these people. At the core of this group the songwriting team of Trish Clausen and Max Getzel have been together since 1982.Flawless three part harmonies with Trish, Karla Sue and Courtney backed up by excellent bass, guitars, and Mandolin playing by Max, Steve, and Tim demonstrates the professionalism and joy that is Urban Twang. For concert dates, booking info and downloads go to www.urbantwang.com Kick back and enjoy the ride that is Urban Twang
Jeff Burns and Greg Dobrov are Guitars of Fire and being a guitarist myself I was blown away by these two. With two Ovation Guitars and with what appeared to be twenty fingers apiece, they played some of the most inventive original compositions yet. Their blend of jazz, flamenco with a touch of world fusion created pure magic on this show. I swear to you that I saw smoke coming off their guitars. You can check out their website at www.guitarsoffire.com

Finally! The long awaited Erick show.Terribly sorry about the long wait - we had some horrible technical problems with this session (corrupt files and whatnot), but we prevailed! Itand#39;s amazing what a little "percussive maintenance" can accomplish. So have a listen to one of the best shows yet. This one is definitely worth the wait. And dig the new website design! Weand#39;ll be adding a lot more in the coming weeks, so keep checking back.Peace,The Folks From CAU
Third Person The three founding members of this hot band from the Eighties, Cathy Narvaez, Jack Duty, and CAU "Wizard of the Mix" Michael Vez got back together for an all acoustic set of their fine original material. Kick back and enjoy this journey back in time with Third Personand#39;s classic hits.
Since we are broadcasting from Chicago, we couldnand#39;t resist doing a podcast of some of Chicagoand#39;s very own home grown contribution to jazz - free jazz.Hope yaand#39;ll dig this foray into the world of other aural textures, as we expand our sonic palette...And if free ainand#39;t your thing, weand#39;ve got a killer show lined up for next week with one of Chicagoand#39;s wittiest songwriters.
We had an amazingly fun time recording the Giving Tree Band! (not to be confused with the actual tree, which was cut down to make a bunch of books by some guy named Silverstein) Giving Tree Band is my new favorite midwestern bluegrass band. And their instruments are beautiful, all natural wooden masterpieces. I was amazed at how the sound came out - everything you hear on the podcast is a live, natural mix, with no artificial sweeteners or colors.
