Happy Ramadan!

Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection, improvement and increased devotion and worship. Muslims are expected to put more effort into following the teachings of Islam. The fast begins at dawn and ends at sunset. Ramadan also teaches Muslims how to better practice self-discipline, self-control, sacrifice, and empathy for those who are less fortunate and thus encouraging actions of generosity and charity...

S2 E5 - This story is an important conversation between Krishna and Arjuna in the Bhagavad Gita where they discuss about "Soul".

On 21 April 1856, Australian stonemasons in Victoria undertook a mass stoppage as part of the eight-hour workday movement. It became a yearly commemoration, inspiring American workers to have their first stoppage. 1 May was chosen to be International Workers' Day to commemorate the 1886 Haymarket affair in Chicago. Thus by 1887 in North America, Labourer's Day was an established, official holiday but in September, not on 1 May.

S2 E4 - There are some devotees who want to show off. For hours they meditate, for  hours they chant, for hours they repeat the name of Lord Krishna. They look down upon others who do not spend much time meditating and chanting. Arjuna happened to be one of these. Lets see if Arjuna learns his mistake.

Sometimes when we are in utter difficulty, the Grace of God acts in a very peculiar way. We feel that God becomes more cruel when we are in difficulties and sufferings. This episode is a small story from Bhagavath Gita about Krishna and her devotee a widow and her cow and what we tell the cruelness of Krishna.
