My Bad Poetry

Aaron and Dave dive into an old private journal to read poems written in high school. Along the way the two have found themselves joined by some incredibly amazing people, all willing to share some of their own bad poetry. Experience a mix of self-reflection, humor, self-deprecation, great conversations and just maybe a half decent poem!

Bonus Non-Episode

Dave and Aaron just had one too many events and life occurrences to juggle this week.  Though they tried... the episode was not to be.  Hear Aaron vamp for 5 or so minutes just to let you all know how much this project means to him and Dave...and hopefully to you all as well!

episode 4: A Chipped Mask

Dave and Aaron chip at this poem to see if there is anything behind its elementary lines.  Also Aaron learns how to read a poem.

End Poem by a Real Poet: "How I Became a Madman (Prologue)" - Kahlil Gibran

Quick Correction: Dave speaks about ourspoetica at the end of the episode, but thought it was spelled "ars".  oops.

episode 5: The Observer

Aaron honestly has no good observations to make concerning this episode.  Dave wishes Aaron's younger self felt the same way about poetry.

episode 7: Baby Blooper Break

Sorry for the delay.. but really the title kinda sums it this one up.  Life got in the way of recording this weekend... and we couldn't be happier for the reason! Congrats Co-host Dave and co.

Correction: Outtakes are outtakes for reasons folks.  "Love Changes Everything" is not just a single but a song from the musical Aspects of Love by Andrew Lloyd Weber with Michael Ball originating the part.
