Disgusting experiences with creepy crawlies

Sorry to disappoint you, but the 5 second rule is definitely a myth. But even it was possible to avoid germs by picking food up from the floor and quickly eating it immediately after dropping it; it definitely wouldn't help if you had a run in with a dead moth. That's what happened with Ryan.

The best hot cross bun in South Africa

It's battle as old as time (or at least as old as they started being made on such a big scale) - who makes the best hot cross bun? We decided to put 5 of the biggest retailers in South Africa to our own test with our guest judges Jenny Morris and Chris Forrest. We had them test 5 hot cross buns from Checkers, Woolworths, Pick n Pay, Spar, and Food Lovers Market. They tasted each bun without knowing where they were bought and judged them based on appearance, flavour, texture, and fruit content.
