Today on the Grind there's of course halloween / trick or treat chat BUT there's also missives, King Charles news and more sandwich chat.
There is also the next instalment of the David Bowie concept album about his holiday in Torremolinos he took when he was 19 called A Lad in Spain.

Today on the Daily Grind we've got a very special episode, with Comedian, Writer and Narrator of Love Island Iain Stirling. Iain was kind enough to join Shaun for an episode of Talking Rubbish and gladly picked up litter grabber and went round a local park with him.
The conversation started with Iain confessing that something Shaun said to him two years ago has been living in his head rent free almost everyday...
Today on the Daily Grind, the show starts with producer Ben giving Shaun a metaphorical dressing down over this T-Shirt. Other than that its a typical Monday on the Grind with Rob Auton, On This Day and a paper round.

It's been a week! Again! And this week, Shaun speaks to the lovely Dave Gorman, who talks us through his half-term highlights. From being too old to do the monkey bars through to having his mind melted by the alternate reality of his eight year old son. Dave finishes by explaining how a special trip to London ended in him and his son watching a man have a poo in an alleyway.

We're hot on the heels of Halloween - a time to carve turnips and fire pumpkins from canons. Shaun delves into the idiosyncrasies of the spooky season.
And in the spirit of change - things get a little bit experimental - as Shaun uses his sensual bassy voice to relax you and find a space to unwind, while listening to his recital of the full menu of Camra beers at the Bent N Bongs Beer Bash 1993, complete with new shart index...
Join Shaun as he deliberates over lunch - could he really give up sandwiches for £10k? No more salt beef beigels. Ever. No more tuna crunch - and technically no more burgers or sausage wraps. Even pizza is debatable. And you can forget about BLT's, they are straight out the door.
And of course, on this day in history, listener feedback, all the usual.

Today on the Daily Grind, it's Tuesday! On the show today Ben gives the studio a gift. There's an interpretation of David Bowie's Aladdin Sane era music, some planets get their feelings hurt AND we hear some found tape of explorer mice. Plus, our new squirrel correspondent Rob Auton!

They say that week 2 of a daily podcast is when fatigue truly sets in. Decision-making becomes impaired, and things can go seriously wrong. Add to this the additional factor that it's also half term, and there's no telling how low Shaun could fall. We begin with the big man alone by the canal, having a quiet word with himself before he comes into studio...
The inaugural edition of It's Been a Week with... features the amazing comedian, actor and writer Jordan Gray.

Before that though, Shaun reads out some of your messages. Plus, we get a special preview of a new show called Lord, of the Flies and a dad gag from the inventor of the dad gag aka Shaun's Dad. At the end, we get a special listener based On this Day involving a collapsing skirt...
In an episode that explores the true range of the Daily Grind we see Ross Noble pop in for a chat with more digressions that the London sewer system. Shaun and Ross discuss parenting, fish flops, Schnorbitz the Dog, a large Saint Bernard dog who was a comic "partner" to Bernie Winters and of course, ADD.
Before that though we find out the winner of the Jingle-Off and what the new number for the studio is.
