Still Buffering

Okay yes it's not technically media BUT it at one time was full of pop culture references that were important to all of us, and also blue ice cream, it's King's Island!

Well, it took us three whole tries to get this episode finished and out to you all, but it's worth it to get to talk about Miley and all her eras for an hour. And also to expose all the lies Rileigh's family told her as a child about their "celebrity encounters."

It's always special when we can take a week to watch something or listen to something that was exceptionally meaningful to one of our siblings, and that was definitely what we got to do this week, so come join in on some of the special moments shared during this show about a very special band.

Sydnee had an interesting choice of movie for her first ever date (and our dad was there too) so of course we all had to take a look back at it together. Like all 90s movies it has some...interesting takes, but if you like doggies and baseball apparently this is the film for you.

This show blew up and broke the internet for a couple of weeks, so of course we had to revisit the world's favorite ooky and spooky family and take a week to talk all about Wednesday!

To round out the year of 2022 and the holiday season, it's time for that classic holiday (?) film featuring all the holiday (?) goo you could ask for, it's Gremlins!

It's time to dive into another holiday classic that somehow we have never talked about before: Home Alone! Also, since the holidays are the time of year to share your most controversial opinions with family, we all decided that meant it was time to share our controversial Home Alone opinions with each other, obviously.

It's the most wonderful time of the year once again: the one where our screens and streaming services are jam-packed with holiday movies full of the cliches we know and love so well. Without a Vanessa Hudgens holiday movie with several versions of Vanessa Hudgens to watch this season, our siblings had to turn to the next best option on Netflix: one with Lindsay Lohan and that guy from Glee!

How did Sydnee and Rileigh not know that their middle sibling was friends with a super cool and famous band and hosted shows for them in their living room back in the day?? They don't know how they missed this band, but they sure are glad to be talking about them now just in time for their most recent album!

Apparently Rileigh was only aware of silly goofy movie dad Adam Sandler, while our older Smirl siblings were fully aware of young, romantic lead, SNL Adam Sandler, so of course they had to expose Rileigh to him walking down an airplane aisle singing because...who wouldn't want that???
