Little did he know, but Ramin often warms up to music sung by Laird Mackintosh. Ramin used to stage door in Canada and met Laird a long time ago when, by chance, Laird asked Ramin to hang after a show!
Rach was born and raised in a military town on the east coast of North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Art and Vocal Performance from UNC Chapel Hill, where her professional career began with PlayMakers Repertory Company.

An Iranian/American actor, writer and activist, Pooya was born and raised in Tehran, Iran, based in New York City. She moved to New York in her teens, where she studied design at Fashion Institute of Technology, and after joining the FIT theatre ensemble, she discovered her love of acting and story telling. She is a graduate from the esteemed Maggie Flanigan Studio.
Andrew Kober is (still) an American actor who has worked in many musicals, most recently in the phenomenal Beetlejuice, the Musical (check out season 1 for my first interview with Andrew).
For the final episode of this series Ramin is hanging with star of stage and screen, Samantha Barks. Samantha is one of the West End’s most talented and versatile leading ladies. She appeared with Ramin in the 25th anniversary concert of 'Les Misérables' at the O2 in London, then again in 'Chess' in Tokyo and last year they shot the musical film, 'Tomorrow Morning'. She is currently starring as Elsa in the West End's production of 'Frozen'.
This episode sees Ramin hanging with the incredibly talented couple, Crash Buist and Lauren Senechal. Crash and Lauren are both writers, actors, directors, producers and have created many projects together from scratch. Their creativity and work ethic is inspirational and they didn't let a pandemic stop them with their vision.
This week Ramin hangs with another member of the Les Misérables alumni and current West End Phantom, Killian Donnelly. This episode really shows how diverse and crazy the life of an actor can be and Killian and Ramin discuss everything from performing at the Oscars to simply being a Dad working in the industry.
In this week's episode of 'The Hang', Ramin chats to actor, singer and writer, Nadim Naaman. Nadim is both British and Lebanese in heritage and he and Ramin discuss their experiences of being Middle Eastern in a Western world - some shared, some very different. They also talk about how much they enjoyed working on 'Rumi: the Musical' together and how they hope that cultural differences will continue to be celebrated within the entertainment industry.
This week Ramin is hanging with one of British Musical Theatre’s rising stars, Bradley Jaden. Bradley is quickly making a name for himself as one of the West End’s most talented leading men. He has starred in numerous shows including Les Misérables which is one of the many shared passions he and Ramin discuss in this episode.
