Hello, and welcome to a special information episode of the Walt Disney World Memories Podcast. My name is Lou, and I’ll once again be your host. Today’s show is a bit different from the norm. I feel I owe you an explanation as to why there haven’t been any shows for the past month. Well, about a month ago, the worst thing that could possibly happen to the podcast did. I dropped my laptop and broke my hard drive to the point where it was no longer readable...
This episode is little late because I just got back from a week vacation to a part of the country where Cell Phones, Computers, and Internet were not a part of everyday life. Traci and I just spent a week in Greenville, Maine near Moosehead Lake (that's in Northern Maine). Out here, we hiked, slept, and ate and just had one of the most relaxing vacations ever. The people were AMAZINGLY friendly, the weather reached highs of only 75, and every day we saw at least one Moose...
Today’s episode was suggested to me by Roy of West Point, Mississippi. Today we visit Maelstrom. Today’s audio was recorded in December our anniversary trip to Disney, and is in binaural sound so headphones on again.

Today’s episode was suggested to me by Luke Manning of the Everything Disney podcasts. His request was The Wonders of Life Pavilion in Epcot. In his email to me, Luke said: "I was wondering if you could play some audio from the Wonders of Life pavilion. I know you were there in December, so u might have some. If not, then I'd also like to hear Journey into Imagination with Figment. Yeah, they're both Epcot... my favorite park. It holds a enormous place in my heart."...
Today’s audio is yet another recording I made while on vacation last December. Therefore, it’s the latest incarnation of Pirates, now staring Jack Sparrow. I like the way this came out, you can really pick up the ambient sounds. Listen to the group sitting behind me discussing if the first Jack is really him. I am still amazed at this AA.

This audio is a little older and only in stereo, but I like it better than my current binaural recordings. I like it cause I’ve actually got a driver from South Africa, and it was shortly after it opened, so all the frills were still new and working. I recorded this back in 2001 when I was in Orlando for a convention and able to slip away for some fun at the parks. It will kind of jump strait in at loading and we’ll be off.

The audio you’re about to hear was all recorded while on our recent anniversary trip to WDW, and a subsequent trip for my birthday. After hearing these performances, Traci said that she wanted these recordings on her iPod, well my love here you go.

The audio you're about to hear I recorded on a night just after new years just before returning home from our Christmas vacation in Florida. We staked out a spot just to the right of the Partners Statue in the hub. The music was a little soft there, and the view is partially blocked by the castle. I think if we were over just a bit more, it would have been perfect. In any case, the audio comes out good...
