Ep. 572 w/ John Li Co-Founder & CEO at Vimcal
    April 23, 2024 (duration 52m)
    [transcript]
10:01 Yeah. Here's my robot EA. Right? Like, you don't you don't wanna do that. So I always say, there's a power dynamic. 32:14 And you see we saw some of our users, like, they just experienced hypergrowth, and they got to a place a few years later where the company was big enough. The CEO was big, busy enough where they need to hire an EA. And all of a sudden, the person who's doing all their own, scheduling, who was a power power user of VIN Cal, basically, overnight does zero scheduling anymore. And Yeah. They have the same meetings on the calendar. 09:21 And your other option is to use something like a Calendly, like, you know, one of those booking link apps. Yeah. But the problem is there's a slight power dynamic that people feel and a lot of people don't talk about. When you give someone your county link depending on who it is like, if you're giving it to someone important, it kinda feels too transactional. Some people call it rude.

Ep. 571 w/ Will Robinson CEO at Encapture
    April 23, 2024 (duration 47m)
    [transcript]
40:51 Yep. Of our economy. I think I think in the next year, I think people will still be kinda dabbling with it and try figure it out. But I think 5 years from now, you'll really start to see AI have penetrated certain industries and use cases that fundamentally change the way that companies operate. And and so I'm a big kind of believer in the the power of AI. 41:16 I I don't have a super here's my next Zinger, I guess. I don't believe it's gonna be this, you know, Skynet take over the world type situation. I don't I don't think our AI is nearly capable enough to do that nor is our compute power on the hardware side, there yet. Now that could change, but, at this point, I would I'm more in favor of let's let's give more more people the ability to access AI and use it and build it versus try to over regulate it. I think that will do some some long term damage.

Ep. 570 w/ Rob Greig CEO Cornucopias Game
    April 23, 2024 (duration 50m)
    [transcript]
16:07 So so so humans live in these big floating, bubbles, these these massive domes. These are these domes are 8 kilometers by 8 kilometers, so they're absolutely massive spaces. And because we're building them using UE 5 with all the power of of nanites and lumens. They look absolutely incredible from from graphics wise. 25:01 But then as you're going from dome to dome doing your crafting, you need to transport your goods where you can put them in the boot or or you can you can fly people from one dome to the other, put on your radio as as you go around. So so having utility, which I think is the natural evolution obviously for for NFTs, that for me is a really great, springboard to show people the actual power of what NFTs can do. They're they're not just the JPEG. They they do actually have utility.

    Ep. 569 w/ Arie Trouw CEO/CTO/Co-Founder XYO
    April 23, 2024 (duration 51m)
    [transcript]
24:51 I can share comments or notes or documents with people in a completely peer to peer situation, which is very similar to me as the early days of the Internet where I would have my own web server, my own email server at home, and you'd have your email server at home, and they just kind of talk to each other, you know, on, you know, web 1.0 terms. But with web 2.0, that that part of sovereignty and that peer to peerness has gone away. So our XyOS, or XyOS, as we call it, is really a way for people to be able to to easily use solutions and applications that or dApps that do peer to peer sovereign concepts for them and really illustrate the power of x y o.

Ep. 567 w/ Brian Stevens CEO at Neural Magic
    April 23, 2024 (duration 46m)
    [transcript]
23:35 So pretty sure your vehicle's gonna have lane detection. Right? So imagine sticking, like, a big heavyweight power hungry GPU into a car. Not just for the cost, but just the power consumption and the failure rates, you know, etcetera, these things have. They're not designed for that.
