Box2Box Friday 3rd December 2021 - Rangnick Reign Commences, Matildas Defensive Woes, World Cup Paths Decided

Rob Gilbert and Michael Edgley are joined by ESPN's Joey Lynch to reflect on the Matildas friendlies against the USA, which saw the side's defensive frailties exposed once again across 3-0 and 1-1 results.

Freelance German football expert Mark Lovell returns to the show to provide background on Ralf Rangnick, the experienced manager who's been tasked with righting the sinking ship at Manchester United on an interim basis.

Willem van Denderen and Derek Dyson cover all the big issues both at home and abroad, including FIFA's World Cup intercontinental qualifying playoffs, contentious Ballon D'Or results, and changes to the AFC Champions League which could work in favour of A-League clubs.
