This week we read about Jesus healing a man who was born blind. The Bible has a lot to say about suffering, and this man’s encounter with Jesus has much to teach us. Just as the prophet Isaiah foretold, this sign reveals Jesus as Messiah, who would open the eyes of the blind. Not only did he receive physical sight, the man’s spiritual eyes of faith were opened when Jesus lit up his world and transformed his life.
In this podcast, Melanie reminds us that Jesus has called us out of darkness into light. Even as our world seems to be getting darker, Jesus remains the Light of the world. He can never be extinguished! So let your light shine!
