Committed to her goals, incoming NCAA Division-1 freshmen soccer player, Ka'ui Lani ("Ky") Pinkney is determined to embrace the many obstacles that life of a soccer player performing at the highest level while balancing her academics, travel, practices, having a social life and outlet, and staying connected with family.

Episode #6, is a follow-up of Ep.5 where Ty first mentions having "Ky" on as a guest. She's accompanied by her mom, who is has a degree in psychology and spends much of her professional time leading others on campus at a private university in Southern California.  Having two former athletes as parents might make things seem like transitioning from high school into college a piece of cake, but that's not always the case.
