The Career Musician

If you're not familiar with NAMM, its the biggest convention for music gear manufacturers held in Los Angeles at the top of the year, and also in Nashville in the summer. This event is where musicians and music retailers go to make connections, whole sale distribution deals, and endorsement deals. Also, it's a great reunion for people in the business who may not have seen each other in a long while. So if you are lucky enough to get access to this event, go!
