The Trauma Of Holiness
What happens when we encounter true holiness? Can we handle the light of God revealing our deepest sins, or do we shy away from it? Join us as we explore the powerful experience of the prophet Isaiah, who faced the Holy One of Israel and became an instrument for His work. We'll dive into the Old Testament and examine the role of prophets as prosecuting attorneys, pinpointing the sins of their people and calling them back to the Lord.
Facing God's holiness is difficult, but through the recognition of our own fallen nature, true transformation occurs. We discuss the importance of brokenness in our walk with God and how, like Saul of Tarsus, we can find righteousness through faith in Christ. By humbling ourselves before the Holy One, we become usable instruments for His work. Listen in to discover the power of an upward vision of God, leading to an inward vision of ourselves, and the ultimate transformation that follows.
