SBI Urges Customers To Execute Revised Locker Agreement | एसबीआई ने ग्राहकों से संशोधित लॉकर करार निष्पादित करने का आग्रह किया | Nitish Verm
State Bank of India on Monday informed, "We request our esteemed customers to contact their locker holding branch and execute the revised/supplementary locker agreement as applicable," SBI said in a tweet on Monday.
"Bank has issued a revised/supplementary locker agreement incorporating the customer's rights. Customers availing locker facilities from SBI are requested to contact their locker holding branch and execute the revised/supplementary locker agreement as applicable," the statement added.
The RBI extended the deadline for banks to sign into amended agreements with safe deposit box holders to the end of December in January, citing a large number of clients who have yet to do so.
RBI suggested that banks enter into updated agreements with existing locker holders by January 1, 2023, in light of major improvements in banking and technology, the nature of customer complaints, and input received in August 2021.

बयान में कहा गया है, "बैंक ने ग्राहक के अधिकारों को शामिल करते हुए एक संशोधित/पूरक लॉकर समझौता जारी किया है। एसबीआई से लॉकर सुविधाओं का लाभ उठाने वाले ग्राहकों से अनुरोध है कि वे अपनी लॉकर धारक शाखा से संपर्क करें और संशोधित/पूरक लॉकर समझौते को लागू करें।"
आरबीआई ने बैंकों के लिए सुरक्षित जमा बॉक्स धारकों के साथ संशोधित समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर करने की समय सीमा जनवरी में दिसंबर के अंत तक बढ़ा दी, बड़ी संख्या में ऐसे ग्राहकों का हवाला देते हुए जिन्होंने अभी तक ऐसा नहीं किया है।
RBI ने सुझाव दिया कि बैंक 1 जनवरी, 2023 तक मौजूदा लॉकर धारकों के साथ अद्यतन समझौते करें, बैंकिंग और प्रौद्योगिकी में बड़े सुधार, ग्राहकों की शिकायतों की प्रकृति और अगस्त 2021 में प्राप्त इनपुट के आलोक में।
