Every so often in these press releases we emphasise as much as possible that drum and bass is truly a worldwide global sound that unites people more than any other genre of music. For us, we connect with multi-talented artists who provide us with insanely good music that we are proud to create a platform for and release. Today is no exception. But along with this we can add more talents to the list as we introduce Gigan aka Mike Thomas from Dallas, Texas, USA. Now we’re not sure if he is a Mavericks fan or a cowboys fan but what we are sure of is this guy loves all drum and bass which he showcases, not only through his productions, but also through the huge label imprints he has created to push and support artists in a similar vein to what we do. Namely. `Boomslang` and more recently `Venom Shroud` Notoriously known to most as “Mike Ragga-Scum” a junglist with exceptional credentials as producer, DJ, Label owner and also head writer as a columnist way back when for the UK publication `Knowledge Magazine` Production wise Mike has had his hand in plenty of pies. With notable releases on his own imprints as well as 6Blocc, GTA & of course right here on Dirtbox Recordings. There isn't much Mike has had a chance to excel at. And for us we are super proud to introduce this massive 5 track debut EP entitled “Invisible” Ladies and Gentlemen, Gigan! The Invisible EP by Gigan is out July 7th 2023.
