Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners – of whom I am the worst. How I love this verse! Whenever I lose my spiritual direction this verse is like a magnetic North that resets my life compass and helps me to find my way back to where I should be. Jesus did many things when He came to this world… Revolutionary Teaching … Amazing Miracles … Incredible Healings … but these things were all secondary to His true mission... to save sinners.
