Elizabeth has the latest travel news and quite frankly, the news isn't good. Airline workers are threatening a strike over contracts that have not been renegotiated for over ten years. At the same time, there is growing concern that the US federal government will be shutdown on October 1st. Travel experts say that while Air Traffic Controllers, Customs and TSA agents will stay on the job as they are considered "essential" workers, the industry as a whole could see losses of over $100 million dollars a day.
