The clinic where users would take their own drugs

Drug users in Glasgow would be able to bring their own drugs and take them in a setting where there is healthcare support, under plans being considered in Scotland. It would be the first such space in the UK. The clinic would be close to the city centre, where there is already an NHS prescription service for people who are addicted to heroin. The Scottish government sees it as a significant moment in its effort to tackle drug deaths in Scotland - it also wants to decriminalise possessing drugs for personal use. Today's Mishal Husain visited the existing service and saw how the new clinic would work. She also spoke to BBC Scotland Editor James Cook, and Austin Smith from the Scottish Drugs Forum.
