Set in France 1770, a talented painter Marianne is hired to paint the portrait of a young woman about to be married named Heloise. The problem is many other painters have also taken on this task before, but Heloise refuses to sit for the portrait. An idea is put together that may allow Marianne to do the portrait without Heloise actually knowing. Find out what plot twist catches both of them by surprise and how sometimes love comes when you're not truly looking for it.
